Walking the pooch

I got up this morning and leashed up Riley, and then made my way to the park. You couldn’t ask for better weather. Along the way I took some snaps and tested out the new camera for the first time. There were dogs aplenty in the field when I arrived. Unleashing the dog, and letting him have a go of it was the plan. He is usually the center of attention, and the other dog people usually start to petting him, and he is a ham and enjoys all the attention.

After petting time, it was time to get serious. Riley’s a little yorkie, but he’s got heart. He always picks the biggest dogs to play with. It was all good, until some of them got a little rough, then I had to drag him out of the action. I had a good laugh, while I was leashing him up, and we made our way back to the hood.
