Les Nubians @ Ft. Greene Projects

I’m not one for superlatives but this was an epic event. Smack dab in the middle of the PJ’s, Les Nubians rocked Ft. Greene last night. The music was a celebration of soul from around the world, and the crowd reflected that composition and energy. It was a night of peace, good times and fun. 

As I was testing out the new lens, this was the perfect occasion to break it in. I have never shot so many pictures, but I couldn’t stop snapping because the vibe was electric. You had project residents side by side with the Brooklyn Bohemians and it was all love. That is the power of good music. Les Nubians were master performers, getting the whole crowd involved from the performance young and old. 

Back to reality, after it was over, I had to rush home and cook before Basketball Wives came on :)
