Fulton Fun

This Labor Day Weekend was chill in spots and energetic in others. It was pretty much how I like it. On Saturday we hit Albee Square Mall as Hard Hittin Harry held down the wheels and hosting duties. The act that we saw perform was Terence Etc. It was hot as hell and these cats were fully dressed killing some eclectic and twisted up soul music. They had a full band and the dudes could really play and sing. Dope.

Moving a couple of blocks away we hit the Dekalb Market. I’d been hearing a lot about it since they opened, but we decided to give it a try. We spent a lazy day under the tent stuffing our faces, drinking beer and in a good surprise listening to DJ Herbert from The Freedom Party heating things up. We saw friends that we hadn’t seen in a while as well. The concept for Dekalb Market was pretty nice, as they built a little mini-city out of shipping containers that housed food vendors and small shops, tapping into a prevailing trend for the last few years. Shouts to Mazies for the mac and cheese and the hands down best greens that I’ve ever eaten.
